• New Delhi: BTS member J-Hope has reportedly bought two luxury apartments in Seoul, paid entirely in cash. J-Hope has purchased a penthouse in the prestigious Seobingo-dong neighborhood of Yongsan, Seoul for 12 billion KRW (about 9 million USD), Bizop reported. He paid the entire price in cash. Not long after, they bought another unit directly below the penthouse.

• According to the article, J-Hope, who is currently serving in the military, signed the contract for the second apartment on June 23, 2020, and paid in full on July 26 of this year, ensuring possession. The present market value of these properties is believed to be between 11 and 12 billion KRW (8.2 to 9 million USD).

• Notably, J-Hope paid for the two flats in cash rather than with a mortgage, costing over 20 billion KRW. This is not his first foray into real estate; he has already purchased two additional premium apartments. With these new purchases, J-Hope now owns four luxury houses in Seoul.

• J-Hope entered in the military in April of last year and is currently working as an instructor at the Baekho Recruit Training Center for the 36th Infantry Division. He attracted attention earlier for receiving a two-month early promotion to corporal. J-Hope is slated to be discharged on October 17.
